ELEMENTARY KIDS

Sunday school

K - 5TH GRADE

Elementary Sunday School is an opportunity to learn, understand and memorize God’s Word. Our kids use God’s Word to overcome the difficulties, temptations, and storms they face in life just as Jesus did-with Scripture.

KIDS CHURCH

Our Elementary Kids are important at WCAG, and their service is designed with this in mind! We enjoy a time of worship, games, mission moments, Bible lessons, offering, special prayer time, small groups and much more!

Kids Church mirrors the Adult Service or Youth Service, but we use fun and amazing tools geared toward the Elementary age group.  Have your son or daughter come join us for a wonderful trip around the world while they discover God’s Truths!

JUNIOR BIBLEQUIZ

K - 6TH GRADE

JBQ is a fun, engaging, and spiritually enriching program where children learn God’s Word, build teamwork and confidence, and enjoy friendly competition with other churches across the region. Most importantly, our goal is to help our children hide God’s Word in their hearts — “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” — Psalm 119:11

📖 JBQ Program Details

👧 Participants: Children ages 5–12 (Kindergarten–6th Grade)

📅 Season: September–March

🏆 Competitions: Every third week of the month at rotating host churches throughout the region

🎉 Finals: March in Springfield (optional)

Practices: Weekly practices at our church to prepare students

👩‍🏫 Program Lead: Pranathi Mothukuri

🤝 Coaches: Parents are encouraged to serve as JBQ coaches

Each student will need to purchase a JBQ book, which contains the questions used in competitions. These questions provide a wonderful foundation for children to learn and understand the basics of our faith. As a parent, I have personally seen how these questions can help our children build a strong foundation in God’s Word, and I highly encourage your children to participate!

We’ve been talking with the students about JBQ over the past few weeks, and we hope they’re excited to come check it out! 💙
