Person & Work of the Holy Spirit

What: This class focuses on how the Spirit works in us through virtues called the "fruit of the Spirit" and through us by the wide-ranging gifts of the Spirit. We'll take a classical Pentecostal line on "initial physical evidence" and on the continuation of all gifts of the Spirit.

What: We will be studying the book of Hebrews while using commentaries and other study materials to help us draw near to the thrown of grace.
The Foothills of Faith: A Study of the Book of Deuteronomy

What: In this class we will be investigating the law given by Moses in the Pentateuch, primarily through a study of Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy is wonderful exposition by Moses, which reflects upon what began when the Israelites "came near and stood at the foot of the mountain" (Dt 4:11). We will look to answer questions such as, "what role does the Law play in the life of the Israelites?", "How does this contribute to our understanding of the New Testament?", and "How does Deuteronomy apply to us today?
