2016 Mexico Missions to Chihuahua, Mexico
Our WCAG team from Week 1 (February 13-20, 2016) had 23 people and our team from Week 2 (February 20-27, 2016) consisted of 11 people.
We built a 5,000 square foot steel building as an addition to an existing church building. The current church has reached capacity with their average Sunday attendance of 220 adults, plus children. The addition will be their new sanctuary and is an increase of three times the current sanctuary.
Each participant paid $850 to cover travel and lodging expenses. The church contributed $55k from its mission budget for the project. The church is "Nuevo Pacto" which translates to "New Covenant". It is an A/G church in Chihuahua, Mexico. We worked with missionary Nicky Rider and his wife, Janie.
West County Assembly began Mexico mission projects to Mexico in 1986. Our next large project is scheduled for 2018. Please consider joining us.
