A Church for Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Their Families
St. Louis, Missouri
Lead Pastors: Michael & Debra McCabe
Michael's green card came through as well as the job we've been praying for working with Deaf clients at the Missouri Psychiatric/Rehabilitation Hospital. As AG church planters we are encouraged to be bi-vocational. Getting this job working with vulnerable Deaf people also provides us with much needed health and dental insurance a God provision.
We've held three Ladies Tea & Craft Days and one Men's breakfast, had a booth at the St. Louis DEAFestival reaching hundreds of members of the Deaf Community, and attended various other Deaf related events as we continue to build relationships in St. Louis. We started a House Church for hearing parents with Deaf children, and every Sunday we are a part of the wider family of God at WCAG as we worship together, after which Michael preaches/teaches those Deaf who are attending. We were blessed this past Sunday to have another Deaf couple join us retired Assemblies of God pastors, Rev. & Mrs. Bill (Joyce) Bingham. What a blessing they will be to Joyful Gathering and to us!
We were privileged to teach an ASL Sunday school class at WCAG. We hope interest will continue to grow in learning American Sign Language to make for an even more inclusive Family on Mission. Click below to see videos we have produced for the class.

We love and appreciate each one who graciously reaches out in Love to our Deaf family and those Deaf people who visit. We also appreciate those friends who generously help with our Ladies Tea and Craft Days andto the leadership who make it possible for us to meet within the beautiful WCAG facilities. Blessings one and all!
