Wilson Retirement PhotoDr. John Wilson - Pastor Emeritus

Pastor John and Connie Wilson founded WCAG in 1969 and were senior pastors through April 1, 2007. While Pastor John was a student at Covenant Theological Seminary, he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to found WCAG. The church began in homes, then met in the gym of Missouri Baptist College and finally moved to the present location on Highway 40.

Pastor John is committed to bringing people into harmony with the will of God by encouraging them to: read the Bible, pray, be water baptized, seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit, join a small group, attend a Bible study, visit the Holy Land, and go on mission trips.

The Wilson’s have a married son, Matthew and daughter-in-law, Nicole.
