Board Of Elders
The Board of Elders, consisting of the Pastoral Elders and Lay Elders, oversees the spiritual matters of WCAG. They shepherd WCAG in prayer and ministry of the Word (Acts 20:28; 1 Peter 5:2; I Tim. 5:17; Titus 1:9; Acts 6:4; Proverbs 11:14). The following men and women make up our Council of Elders:
Carol Moffatt
Carol grew up in upstate New York as one of five children of Assemblies of God ministers. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from Evangel University. She worked for Monsanto for 10 years where she met her husband, Jim, who is now President, Performance Products LP Americas for Israeli Chemical, Ltd. They have lived 5 years in the Twin Cities, Minnesota; 5 years in the Chicago area; and, as a couple, on and off in the St. Louis area for 17 years during which time they have been members of WCAG. Carol became an at-home mom when their son, William, was born who was soon followed by daughter, Anna.
Over the years, Carol has served the churches wherever they’ve lived in missions, women’s ministries, Missionettes, choir, and orchestra. She is currently in her second term as an elder at WCAG. She has participated in several missions trips to Mexico. Aside from her church interests, her time is spent keeping up with their children and extended families and with her hobbies: training in dressage with her horse, Albert; training their Aussie, Jackie, for obedience and agility; sewing and other needle arts; gardening; reading; and decorating. Their travels have taken them all over the U.S. and to Mexico, Canada, England, France, and Israel. Her passion is to see Christians of all spiritual ages to learn what it is to truly love Christ and to mature in Him.
Jose Kadavil
Jose was born in India, moved to Canada in his early 20s, and then moved to St. Louis in 1994 where he has been attending West County Assembly of God ever since. Jose accepted Christ as the Lord of his life when he was 10 years old and has been walking with Him ever since. His journey has been influenced by his Christian heritage, and his wife, Molly, who supports all his ministerial activities. While he has been involved in various ministries throughout his life, he is currently an elder at WCAG and helps lead the Agape international ministry. He believes his calling in life is to be a blessing to all those who he comes across every day. "I may not always succeed in this but I try my best every day." He and Molly have been married since 1973. They have three adult children, all of whom are married, and one grandchild, who lights up their life. Jose currently works as an Electrical Engineer at Nestle Purina.
